Sony has just announced at CES 2014 that they will be launching a brand new service called Playstation Now later this year. This new service will be able to stream Playstation 1,2,3 and 4 games directly to a whole bunch of devices like TV’s, Smartphones, Tablets and ofcourse Playstation and Vita devices.
Now represents a new subscription model for users, and will start with a limited beta later this month for North America and later also for other regions across the globe. (more…)

PopCap Games, a division of Electronic Arts, today announced that Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare will be shipping for Xbox One all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft, and Xbox 360 videogame and entertainment system on February 18, 2014 in North America, February 20, 2014 in Europe and February 21 in the UK. Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare is an action-packed third-person multiplayer shooter that puts players in the shoes—or roots—of their favorite characters from the popular Plants vs. Zombies franchise. Videogame publisher Iceberg Interactive is releasing an update for its recently released combat racing game Gas Guzzlers Extreme (PC), via Steam. Developed by highly respected Croatian studio Gamepires, Gas Guzzlers Extreme offers extensive hi-octane single player and multiplayer thrills and has received tremendous feedback from both the community as well as high praise from the press.

Konami Digital Entertainment Inc. has extended the reach of its popular myPES social element of PES 2014, with the release of a dedicated app for iOS users, with an Android version to follow shortly.
myPES was introduced in PES 2012 in a very basic form, and was designed to allow the sharing of results within the PES community. It has now been extended greatly and the free app allows for more detailed player and game data to be shared between users. (more…)

Harebrained Schemes’ magic-and-cyberpunk mashup Shadowrun Returns was the first $1m+ Kickstarter-funded videogame to be released, premiering as a #1 seller on Steam earlier this year. The game, which appeared on 5 “Most Anticipated Games of 2013” lists, was also a featured Game of the Week on the Apple and Google Play App Stores.
This January, Harebrained Schemes will follow-up their success with the release ofShadowrun: Dragonfall, a major expansion for Shadowrun Returns on Windows, OSX, and Linux that features a robust full-length campaign set in the city of Berlin. Iceberg Interactive releases a brand new teaser trailer today for its upcoming 4x space strategy game Star Lords (PC), which is being developed by Portuguese game developer Arkavi Studios.
