Remedy, creators of the Max Payne series and AlanWake, announced today that their classic top down vehicular combat game from 1996, Death Rally, is now available to PC gamers via Steam.

In Death Rally you must win races, in order to gather more money and buy upgrades to your vehicle, a decent Vagabond armed with a pea shooter, good enough to survive the initial stages of the game. However as the game progresses you have to race against more experienced opponents with faster cars and bigger guns looking to destroy anyone and everyone that gets in their way. Surviving and winning each race gives you more money to tune-up, repair, and upgrade your car and the chance to blow away the competition .

Death Rally is available now on Steam for a discounted price of 7,64€ until August 10th.
