RealAxis Software, an indie game developer from Bangalore, India, have today announced that a public PC demo for their side-scrolling, platforming and combat action game, Stained, is now available.

In Stained the player starts as a creature dressed in black robes, with no goals, no motivations. As the player traverses the castle, a King’s Journal guides him through, showing scenes that tell the story of the war of the castle and reveals its dark history. Events in Stained are triggered by breaking objects placed in and around the castle, and outcomes are determined by the combination of glass pieces that litter the ground, leading to a variety of experiences.

Stained is expected to launch on September 14th on Impulse and Desura. Those interested can download the demo from here.
