Amplitude Studios, a Dutch indie developer, and Iceberg Interactive have just announced the official Steam release of the 4x space strategy game Endless Space for PC.

In Endless Space your goal is to guide one of eight civilizations as you strive for galactic dominion. It’s up to you to control the entire galaxy through subtle trade and diplomacy, explore every corner of the universe to find powerful artifacts and resources, overwhelm other civilizations with your advanced technologies, or destroy your enemies with massive armadas.

Endless Space can be purchased as either the Admiral Edition (26,99€) or as the Emperor Special Edition (31,49€) on Steam. Iceberg Interactive will bring the boxed version of the game to retail stores on 24 August 2012.
