The Indie Royal game bundle which brings a great catch of indie games at a fraction of their original price have just announced that The Getaway Bundle, featuring six independent games,  including the exclusive PC debut of Super Amazing Wagon Adventure, is now live.

First in this bundle comes Shattered Horizon, from Futuremark Games Studio, the innovative multiplayer first-person shooter played entirely in zero gravity. A catastrophic explosion on the Moon has filled near-Earth space with billions of tons of rocky debris. You and your friends join intense 32 player battles to control hollowed-out asteroids, huge fragments of Moon rock and the ruined remains of the International Space Station.

Next up is Analogue: A Hate Story, a visual novel-style video game created by independent designer and novelist Christine Love, available for Windows, Mac and Linux on Steam, Desura and DRM-free. A current Indiecade Finalist, this game is focused around finding out the fate of a ship with the help of the ship’s two AIs after it re-appears 600 years following its mysterious disappearance whilst on a mission to establish an interstellar colony. Also included are the Space and Science DLC and the original soundtrack.

Sparse Vector appears next with the exclusive debut of Super Amazing Wagon Adventure, available for Windows on Desura and DRM-free, a fast-paced 2d shooting game with a random story. You control a group of three migrants traveling west along a wagon trail. Super Amazing Wagon Adventure consists of short scenes that are sequenced together in a semi-random way to tell a crazy adventure story. One minute you could be massacring a herd of buffalo, the next trapped in an avalanche, the next attacked by eagles while falling off a cliff.

Also offered is retro point-and-click adventure from Wadjet Eye Games: Da New Guys. Da New Guys is based on 3 wrestlers from England (Brain, Simon and Defender) who have immigrated to America. One of them Brain – the worst brawler in the history of the Wrestle Zone – has won the title belt! Not even his team-mates can believe it. But when Brain gets kidnapped (along with the belt), it’s up to them to get him back.

Included in the Getaway Bundle is also the twin-stick shooter from Squid In A Box Waves, which difference from other games of its kind is that it rewards players for killing their enemies by triggering a slow-motion buffer and the ability to bomb them. Waves features five different modes, leaderboards and 20 levels.

Last up is I-Game-Art’s retro RPG miniFlake, available for Windows on Desura and DRM-free. A roguelike RPG, miniFlake features 1bit graphics, lcd handheld screen effects, retro 8bit sounds and music, and randomly generated dungeons, overworld maps location names, and NPCs. Relying heavily on procedural generation algorithms, miniFlake can guarantee you that no two games will be the same. The goal of the game is to pillage dungeons, and this gets increasingly difficult with each level.

The top 10 contributors to this bundle will receive a Shattered Horizon t-shirt. In addition, the top 5 contributors will also receive a meteorite sample from the 1947 Russian meteorite, Sikhote-Alin. Finally, those who pay $8 USD or their currency equivalent during the Getaway Bundle will get ‘Handheld Heroes Volume One’, a 41-track project directed by Saskrotch. You can purchase The Getaway Bundle from here.
