Acclaimed publisher Iceberg Interactive and Croatian game developer Little Green Men announce that they have struck a publishing agreement for Starpoint Gemini 2.

The work Iceberg did on publishing the original title gave us all the answers we needed regarding where to go with publishing the sequel.“

Starpoint Gemini 2 uses the same general guidelines, but with modified combat mechanics, full 3D space and greatly improved graphic features“, says Iceberg Interactive CEO Erik Schreuder, adding: “The deal was actually struck a while ago and LGM has been working on the game behind closed doors for some time now, making solid progress. We’re so very excited to bring this much improved second instalment to both existing fans and newcomers to the Gemini universe later this year.“

Like its predecessor Starpoint Gemini that was released in 2011 Starpoint Gemini 2 will be an open-world 3D space simulation that combines powerful RPG mechanics with the frenzy of space combat.

Iceberg Interactive is aiming to release Starpoint Gemini 2, including in several localized versions (a.o. German), at the end of Q3-2013; both as a boxed retail edition and on worldwide digital platforms.

   These shots look awesome. First one absolutely cool. Never played first game, but this one interests me definitely
