Lace Mamba Global and indie Czech developer CBE software have today announced that J.U.L.I.A., an upcoming science fiction adventure will arrive in UK and Irish retail on March 2nd, 2012 and soon after in further territories.
J.U.L.I.A. is set in the year 2430, and players take control of Rachel, a 35 year old astro-biologist and member of an elite group of scientists, who are sent off in a giant space ship in order to explore the first ever discovered extra-terrestrial life-forms. However after some unexplained events Rachel awakes from a cryogenic sleep to find out she is the only human survivor of her team. To make things worse, their space probe, currently orbiting an unknown planet in a far-off solar system, is severely damaged.
Rachel's only assistance in her effort to solve the mysteries of the events on board the space vessel, repair it and explore the unknown planet will come from J.U.L.I.A., the spaceship’s very temperamental artificial intelligence system, and Mobot, a huge reconnaissance robot. However they are not totaly alone out there, and it won’t take long until she encounters the first extra-terrestrial life-form s.
In the six unique planets you are going to visit you will have to solve puzzles and gather clues, that will help you find out what happened to the crew and why you alone survived.
