Finnish based Indie developer Instant Kingdom have released a demo for their upcoming role-playing game, Driftmoon which comes with their powerful editor & mod-sharing system, along with all of the currently released mods.
Driftmoon tells the story of the Pendant of Life, and how it was reforged and how it was reforged to end the evil reign of King Ixal. The town of Asrald is idyllic by day, but at night the Curse turns the villagers into man-eating monsters. Having barely escaped this world as a child, you must now venture into the land of Driftmoon and stop the Curse once and for all.
The development team behind Driftmoon describe their game as having "a deep, captivating story, and the gameplay focuses heavily on adventure and exploration. The adventure is spiced up with surprising twists, and a nice touch of humour, and the world is filled with detail."
Driftmoon is currently in a preorder phase with 5 to 10 hours of playtime already available for PC users. According to Instant Kingdom the rest of Driftmoon will be finished in the following few months. Those interested can download the demo from here.
