EVENT Interactive and Interwave, the team behind the critical acclaimed RTS/FPS Nuclear Dawn, today revealed through their Facebook page that they joined forces for their next project, an iOS remake of rComplex, the highly praised indie title that first launched in 2009.
Set to hit the App store on February 2012, rComplex begins with you running. The origin of your situation is unknown. Why the darkness is after you is not clear. What is clear is that you are desperately trying to evade the impending danger. Along the way you must piece together events that lead to your current situation, but only if you live long enough to make sense of it, as the story unfolds seamlessly in the midst of the action.
In the 7 different environments of rComplex you'll discover exclusive items and secrets to advance through the levels and story, face a variety of challenges, such as motorbike sections on devastated highways, and tense close-quarter factory runs, and unlock achievements for flawless runs and low death counts.
Furthermore, EVENT Interactive and Interwave revealed that an Android, and a Steam release for PC and Mac, for rComplex is also in their plans.
