The popular console and PC game, Batman Arkham City, is getting an iOS version for Apple’s iPhones and iPads. Batman: Arkham City Lockdown in available now on the NZ App Store, and it will be rolling out in other countries over the day.
Developed by Mortal Kombat's NetherRealm Studios and powered by Unreal Engine, Batman: Arkham City Lockdown will include upgradeable armor and weapons using purchasable "Wayne Tech Points" and a series of boss fights against Two Face, Joker, and the exclusive Deathstroke. Each character features a different style of gameplay, which is as yet unknown.
Batman: Arkham City Lockdown is available in the New Zealand App Store for NZ$8.29, and it should be available in the US Store within the day at a price of US$5.99. It is compatible with iPhone 3GS and above, 3rd generation iPod touch and above, and all models of iPad.
