Today Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment announced that Gotham City Impostors will be available beginning February 7th on Windows PC and on February 8th on the PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE.
Gotham City Impostors, a download only title, is an original first-person shooter where up to 12 players battle for control of an unhinged Gotham City. In the game you play as fully-customisable Gotham citizens, fighting either for Batman or Joker, in maps and modes inspired by DC Comics’ Batman license. Players can unlock new Bats or Jokerz Impostor costumes and build their own specific load-out from a huge assortment of traditional and homebrew weaponry, equipment, and perks. Gadgets such as the Glider Rig, Grappling Hook, and Spring Boots give gamers unprecedented mobility options, while support items like the Bear Trap, Boomerang, and Body Armor open up new tactical options.
Gotham City Imposters was originally due to be released in January, but due to the significant feedback received from the private beta in December the game was delayed.
