Bit.Trip Complete for the Wii, and Bit.Trip Saga for the Nintendo 3DS will both launch in Europe on 16th March, publisher Rising Star Games has announced.

“We are thrilled to announce a release date for Bit.Trip Complete & Bit.Trip Saga,” says Martin Defries, managing director, Rising Star Games. “The rhythmic action is so addictive I’ve had to stop typing to get a higher score on Runner. It’s this compelling game play that makes us confident there is no other game out there like Bit.Trip. The array of content, including exclusive levels never seen before, and appearing in 3D for the first time on Nintendo 3DS makes these truly compelling packages.”

Bit.Trip Complete and Bit.Trip Saga mark the first time a collection of these highly-regarded titles appear in compilations, and also the first time Bit.Trip games appears at retail. Each game revolves around the adventures of a character named "Commander Video", and features a crazy mix of 80s aesthetics and modern game design. Saga includes all six Bit.Trip games -Beat, Core, Void, Runner, Fate and Flux - remastered into three dimensions for the 3DS, while Bit.Trip Complete features all six games on top of 120 extra levels.
Furthermore Wii owners, besides getting the game's original soundtrack CD, and letters to Bit.Trip fans written by the series' director, will also be able to experience new difficulty modes and online leaderboards, and access additional content including image galleries, music tracks and over 25 movies telling the story of Bit.Trip hero, CommanderVideo.
