Vblank Entertainment's open-world 8-bit parody crime game Retro City Rampage, previously announced as a Wii Ware and Xbox Live Arcade title, will also be released in May, for the PS3, Vita and the PC the developer has announced.

According to the game's designer Brian Provinciano, Retro City Rampage is a game that will make fans of Grand Theft Auto feel right at home, as the game features a vast assortment of weaponry, the miscellaneous shops, the ability to hijack vehicles at will, and the ability to attract police attention with violence and destruction. However the missions extend far beyond driving and shooting and features modern mechanics to span virtually every genre, from stealth to platforming, adventure, rhythm and even underwater levels. There are around 50 story missions and 30 challenge levels in total. Retro City Rampage is primarily played from a top-down bird's-eye viewpoint, in specific sections, it may switch to a strictly two-dimensional perspective in the style of a 2D platformer.
