This is Darkspore. All of it. You get bigger horns and stuff later on, but this is it. Empty level after empty level of pointless slaughter. Then you get to take it all online and simply kill for more loot and +1 increases on daft statistics that you won't notice because the combat is way too simple. We must be getting old, because we found all the pointless slaughter rather boring and mundane.
Diablo, and it's sad to say this - had far more complexity. You could pick which of your various power to use, you could pick health and mana potions, trade inventory... Darkspore is just a mess of clicking, and 'equipment' is just an endless, stupid progression. I wanted to like this game, but was so disappointed I won't even bother writing up a review for it. Avoid.
