Hotline Miami and Serious Sam publisher Devolver Digital has dropped a new teaser trailer for The Chaos Engine, a remake of the acclaimed 1993 Bitmap Brothers top-down shooter. The game is built upon the original Amiga code, whilst adding in several new features such as 16-way movement and slight adjustments to the difficulty.

The website has this to say about The Chaos Engine “Prepare for the dark world of The Chaos Engine, a steampunk Victorian age in which one or two players must battle the hostile creations of the Chaos Engine across four dynamic landscapes and take part in the ultimate battle.”

The Chaos Engine, which is available via preorder on GetGames for $9.99, is expected to launch on Windows PC in August.
