After the big update 2.0, for the Playstation 4 from last week, it seems that some users experience problems with their consoles not starting up. Now Sony announced they are working on an update to version 2.01 that should fix all those problems. However, they do not specify any date on when this will be released, except for ‘soon’.

Sony recently launched the 2.0 firmware update that introduced new features like Share-play and Youtube integration plus an app for that. After the release, lots of users started to complain about their console not being able to be turned on anymore. It seems this starts to happen for some users when they have put their console into the new rest mode (standby). Apart from that there were also problems with the Youtube app, for example not being able to login at all.

The company is now working on a fix for all these things and promises the new update 2.01 will be out as soon as possible, as they write on their Twitter account. If any other bugs will be fixed in this update aswell is still unknown at this moment. To be continued…
