NewsMedia ReleasesSittard, The Netherlands – 12 August 2011 – as the start of Nuclear Dawn’s closed Beta approaches, InterWave Studios unveils the first details of the pre-order bonuses available to early adopters.
As special recognition for the players who put faith in Nuclear Dawn so early, all accounts that pre-order the game between July 25th and August 25th will have access to a special Veteran Medal, a unique in-game insignia granted to early adopters.The Veteran Medal is not tradable, not transferrable, and it will not be available after the start of the closed Beta period. It’s our own small way of saying ‘thank you’ for believing in us.

That's a nice little gesture, it's the same thing the Natural Selection 2 guys did though they gave a different armour skin instead of a medal.

man im loving the medal, good job on that gotta be honest i love how its animated to move seperatly from the character…. also you say…. first preorder bonus…. is there possibly more?

where in game is the medal found or “usable”?

its just pinned to your chest if you have it automatically, just go look at some people you will probably see a fair few wearing it and few who dont, its very shiney so stands out
