Chivalry: Medieval Warfare, a skill based first person slasher that has a huge focus on objectives which on September 15th was successfully funded on Kickstarter, will launch on on October 16th developer Torn Banner Studios announced.

Powered by the Unreal Engine 3, Chivalry: Medieval Warfare controls like a FPS, but instead of guns and grenades, players are given swords, shields, maces, battleaxes and longbows. The game is set in a fictional yet gritty and realistic world, where up to up to 32 players will fight in fast paced online battles, on besieging castles, raiding medieval villages in their effort to control the lands of Agatha.

Chivalry: Medieval Warfare will launch on the PC for the price of $30/€23.
