Kalypso Media have just announced that an extended edition of Anna, the first-person horror game from Italian developer Dreampainters featuring more environments, more hours of game play, more puzzles, additional game play features, enhanced graphics and an improved interface, will soon be available for PC and Mac via digital download partners.

Anna, powered by the Unity engine, takes place in an old sawmill based between Champoluc and Periasc, a place actually existing in the Val D’Ayas in Valle d’Aosta, Italy. Here the main character will have to solve puzzles and ‘face’ the presences who inhabit the buildings in order to to discover the meaning behind his nightmares. Depending on the mental health of the character, the locations will change and reveal different secrets, which will lead to one of the three possible endings.

Those who have already purchased the standard version of Anna will be able to download the Extended Edition content for free when released.
