Ratloop Asia, a US based Independent game studio, and Reverb Publishing have today revealed that Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken, the gun-blazing, 2D platform action gem that was released a year ago on the PlayStation Network, will be coming to PC through Steam this fall.

Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken takes place in Albatropolis, a land full of birds, and the player controls Hardboiled Chicken, an original Coq of War, who must assassinate the evil penguin dictator Putzk and set free Albatropolis. His mission will unlock the secrets to his mysterious, hard boiled past and uncover the real enemies of Albatropolis.

“Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken is one of the wackiest, coolest things I’ve ever seen in a 2D platformer. The first time it was shown to me, I knew we had to be a part of this amazing vision,” said Ted Lange, executive producer of Reverb Publishing. “We’re thrilled to be able to help bring this game to an even wider audience. We know they’ll love it.”

Ratloop Asia has not yet revealed the pricing for the PC version of Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken but the game is expected to retail around the $11.99 price tag of the PS3 version.
