Iridium Studios, the developer behind the critically acclaimed Sequence, has announced its second title, There Came an Echo, a voice-controlled squad-based strategy game starring Wil Wheaton. To ensure an exceptional level of quality, Iridium has gone out to its fans to ask for help via founding the game on Kickstarter.

Iridium Studios is one of the first studios to launch a second Kickstarter campaign, Sequence having been funded via Kickstarter back in 2010. “This is mildly bizarre title,” said Jason Wishnov, CEO of Iridium Studios. “Traditional methods of funding for something like this aren’t quite feasible, and we believe that fans should be more directly involved in the development process. Also, Wil Wheaton is cool. Did we mention him?”
