Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number , the epic finale to 2012’s blood-soaked hit Hotline Miami, was officially announced today. The game picks up several years after the events of Hotel Miami and in terms of gameplay it is similar to the first, but will “tell the story in a different way.”
There will several playable characters and at least two factions born from the events of the original game, more of which will be revealed as Wrong Number nears its release.
“This is the end,” one half of Dennaton Games, Denis Wedin said. “This is the grand finale for Hotline Miami. Everything will end with this game. We also tried to give that tone to the game as well. This is the theme for the whole game. It has that sadness. All good things end.”
Hotline Miami 2 is due out in 2013 for PC, Mac, and Linux from Dennaton Games and Devolver Digital.
