Instant Kingdom the husband and wife team of Ville and Anne Mönkkönen, have just announced that Driftmoon, a charming quirky adventure role-playing game that has been in development for over seven years is now available through the developer’s website, www.instantkingdom.com, and through a number of digital distribution platforms, including GOG.com, GamersGate, Green Man Gaming and Desura.
In the world of Driftmoon, the citizens tremble in anticipation as the evil king Ixal is gathering his forces, undoubtedly to assault and try to conquer the land. However, there is hope, and it comes in the unlikely alliance of a young man with a firefly companion, a panther queen with an ego the size of a “moon whale”, and “a very determined fellow who’s lost everything but his bones, and still hasn’t given up”.
Instant Kingdom has also announced that porting Driftmoon to other platforms is planned.
